The main activities concentrate on the survey and control of coal or biomass stockpiles and the protection of these against spontaneous combustion. For this purpose, Ssp developed an infrared operating method enabling us to detect high temperatures in the stockpiles. Due to the expertise Ssp is called in on a regular basis by stevedore companies.
